AHF VENTURES

INVESTORS IN HEALTH INNOVATION

AHF Ventures is the corporate development, business growth strategy, and investment arm of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), which is the largest direct provider of HIV medical care, serving over 1 million people globally.  With a budget of $1.6 billion projected for 2019, AHF funds 99% of its budget through its businesses and programmatic portfolio – including healthcare centers, pharmacies, managed care plans, contracts with programmatic funders, affordable housing, and thrift stores – as well as through direct and passive investment activity.

Internally, AHF Ventures focuses on improving healthcare and affordable housing delivery models, developing and/or expanding businesses and programs, innovating new models of care and housing, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Externally, as a strategic asset allocator, we have the flexibility and capacity to partner with visionary entrepreneurs and forward-thinking companies, agencies, and like-minded organizations to identify and fund promising businesses, programs, and technologies that advance AHF’s mission and/or are related to AHF’s businesses and programs while generating a reasonable financial return on investment to fund our charitable activities.
